General Information

Flat files are unformatted text documents that contain structured data. To ensure compatibility with our systems, it is essential to follow the structure specified in this guide.

Main requirements:

  • Plain text format (TXT or CSV)
  • UTF-8 encoding
  • Clearly delimited separators
  • Headers in the first row
  • No critical empty cells

Dictionary of technical terms related to the structure of flat files.

Report

It is a report or communication that employers prepare to record the values of severance pay accrued during the immediately preceding year by their employees.

Entity NIT

Corresponds to the NIT number of the entity submitting the report, including the verification digit.

Identification Number

Corresponds to the identification number of the member being reported.

Document Class

Corresponds to the member's document type.

Department

Corresponds to the code of the Department where the member being reported works, in accordance with DANE coding.

Municipality

Corresponds to the code of the Municipality where the member being reported works, in accordance with DANE coding.

Consolidated

Corresponds to the total value of the actual severance pay accrued and settled in favor of the member during the entire year or fraction of the year in case of definitive withdrawal. It is the value that the Fondo Nacional del Ahorro must disburse.
