Accountability history
The Fondo Nacional del Ahorro (FNA) is committed to transparency and citizen participation. For this reason, we provide spaces for engagement with citizens through various communication channels, with the purpose of informing the public about the work carried out to make Colombians' housing dreams a reality and, likewise, addressing any concerns related to the entity's administration or providing explanations regarding its management.
The Fondo Nacional del Ahorro S.A., as a mixed-economy public limited company of an indirect and national-level nature, subject to the regime of State industrial and commercial enterprises, under a private law regime, affiliated with the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit and supervised by the Financial Superintendence of Colombia, abides by the terms and conditions established within the general framework of the Statutory Law on Citizen Participation, Article 50, which establishes the mandatory nature of accountability reporting to citizens.
Paragraph: "Entities and agencies of the Public Administration shall provide accountability to citizens on a permanent basis, under the terms and conditions set forth in Article 78 of Law 1474 of 2011. State industrial and commercial enterprises and mixed-economy companies that carry out commercial activities in competition with the private sector, whether national or international, or in regulated markets, are exempted; in such cases, they shall be governed by the legal and regulatory provisions applicable to their economic and commercial activities.".
