Please note that the power of attorney must authorize the representative to carry out the Cesantías withdrawal process, and need only be specific when authorizing the representative to receive the funds.
Note of interest
Pursuant to Decree 1562 of 2019, five business days are established to process the Cesantías payment, counted from the day after the request is submitted in the Document Management tool and once the indicated requirements have been met. In the event that the individual Cesantías account has any flag for garnishment, external pledge, special statuses, legal references, or restraining or approving orders, the processing times will depend on the normalization of the request before payment can be processed, and may exceed the time frame indicated.
Requests submitted through Fondo en Línea and the App will be processed within a maximum of 24 hours after employer approval and will only be made to the member's bank accounts.
