Replacement of the Collateral
As a member of the Fondo Nacional del Ahorro and beneficiary of a Housing Loan, you may request a change of collateral in writing. By means of a letter addressed to the Collateral Administration Manager, completing the form Substitution of the property pledged as collateral, in addition to the documents required for the procedure.
Documentation
Request for substitution of the property pledged as collateral.
Photocopy of the member's identification document.
Photocopy of the last paid loan invoice. The loan must not be in arrears or in legal collection.
Copy of the certificate of ownership and encumbrances of the currently mortgaged property and of the property to be mortgaged.
Commercial appraisal of the property intended to be provided as new collateral.
Authenticated copy of the promise of sale, in the event that the property intended to be provided as new collateral is not owned by the member, or public deed verifying ownership.
Simple copy of the public deed under which the mortgage in favor of the FNA was constituted over the property intended to be substituted.
Note: If within a period of six (6) months from the date on which the member is notified of the inconsistency(ies) presented in these documents, the member does not proceed with the corresponding correction(s), it will be understood that they have withdrawn from the procedure and such documentation will be archived.
