Substitution of the debtor
Substitution of the mortgage debtor applies in cases of change of ownership of the right of dominion over a real estate property acquired with a loan from the FNA. This procedure may be carried out provided that the substituting party meets the requirements set forth in the Housing Loan Regulations.
Documentation
Request for substitution of the debtor.
Photocopy of the identification document of the current debtors.
Photocopy of the last paid loan invoice. (The loan must not be in arrears or in legal collection).
Photocopy of the marital property settlement document (if applicable) and copy of the Certificate of Ownership showing only the new owner, to whom title of the property was assigned in the settlement of said marital property.
Photocopy of the public deed under which the mortgage in favor of the FNA was constituted.
The member assuming the debt must provide the required documentation to submit a loan application.
