Ethics and Good Governance

This Code compiles the Good Corporate Governance practices adopted by the Fondo Nacional del Ahorro; facilitates their proper understanding and monitoring by internal and external stakeholders; and emphasizes ethical commitment, legal compliance, continuous process improvement, autonomy with a strategic focus and coherence, prudent risk management, and the incorporation of sustainable practices.

This Code of Ethics was developed within the framework of administrative development policies formulated by the Administrative Department of the Public Service in compliance with Decree 2482 of 2012—"establishing general guidelines for the integration of planning and management"—the primary objective of which is to contribute to the Administrative Efficiency Plan.

Furthermore, Decree 943 of 2014 updated the Standard Internal Control Model (MECI); its human talent component encompasses actions regarding talent development—specifically agreements, commitments, and ethical protocols. This code serves as a driving force guiding the fulfillment of the organization's mission, vision, and corporate objectives, and is grounded in the fundamental principles of public administration.
